Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors complete the biggest margin of victory for a team that trailed by 20+ points at the end of the first quarter in the shot clock era. Their historic win gives them a 1-0 record to start Group Play.

The Warriors continue their furious run and tie the game after being down as much as 25. 

“We all need to catch our breaths,” Michael Grady said. 

After Dončić had a historic first quarter, Curry and the Warriors stormed back thanks to their defense and cleaning up their turnovers. 

De’Anthony Melton led the bench with 13 points. Sophomore guard Will Richard sparked the run with his two-way play, getting stops and turning that into offense. 

Curry has 14 points, and the Warriors drill 12 3-pointers in the first half.

After the first quarter ended with the Lakers outscoring the Warriors 38-15 in the 1Q, the Warriors proceeded to outscore the Lakers 38-15 in the second quarter.
